Hagermann's Bakehouse Cafe - It just keeps getting better every place we go!

Our breakfast club places really do just keep getting better every time! On Saturday, we ended up at Hagermann's Bakery in Draper. We had quite the turnout and met our friend Dave who happens to be one of the best workers at Hagermann's. He helped us decide what to get and even made us special orders. He was great and so nice! Ruth's Diner

The Breakfast Club started off the warm summer weather (finally) with breakfasts at Ruth's Diner up Emigration Canyon on Saturday, June 27th. The weather was great. We had a 45 minute wait for an outside table but it was worth it! We had a great turnout and we enjoyed ourselves among the wonderful pecan cinnamon french toast, biscuits and gravy, banana walnut french toast, eggs, bacon and fruit and more! We would definitely hit Ruth's up again anytime! See you next time!

Bruges Waffles & Frites

Saturday, June 20th we were able to make it to the Farmers Market and Bruges Waffles & Frites for an amazing breakfast before the rain came! The group was small but we had a great time sampling the various breads, jams and salsa's at the Farmers Market. We definitely missed Carri at Bruges. So sorry for the mix-up Carri --- we love you! The Belgian waffles were to die for and we decided to be daring a try the fries - with stew on top! This is one place we will go back for more! It was excellent! Thanks for everyone who made it!

The next Breakfast Club will be on Saturday, June 27th at 10 AM. We will be meeting at Ruths Diner.

The Hilton Garden Inn

Saturday, May 16th TBC met at The Hilton Garden Inn in Sandy. Since Emilie works there and is now moving, we decided to make a special trip in her honor! The Hilton Garden Inn had reserved a table for our group. When we arrived, there was a note on the table that said, RCVD. I guess we were being received rather than reserved?! Breakfast consisted of great tasting waffles, made to order omlettes, fruit, box cereal (thank you Kirk), fresh jucies, and of course bacon! Tyler had a surprise for all of us as well. It was a great morning as it usually is on those Breakfast Club mornings!

The Original Pancake House

On Saturday, April 18, 2009, The Breakfast Club met at The Original Pancake House located at 790 E 2100 S in Salt Lake City. There was a line up to get in. The place was packed but the food was definitely worth the wait. Kirk and Mason were the first to arrive. Sabrina and Abby came in at a close second after sitting in a minor traffic jam caused from the Salt Lake Marathon. Carrie showed up in her biking attire (she had just finsihed the bike portion of the race). And, Tyler, last as usual made it to the table.

We had a variety of pancakes to choose from. Blueberry, Chocolate, Banana, Mixed Fruit, etc. They were great! In addition to the variety of pancakes there were other breakfast specialties to choose from. Omelets, Hashbrowns, Eggs, Sausage, Breakfast Burritos and the list goes on and on.

We did manage to snap a few shots from our morning breakfast. Thanks to all of you who came. We had some great laughs! See you next month.

Kneaders Bakery Cafe

On Saturday, March 28, 2009, The Breakfast Club had it's first kick off breakfast at Kneaders Bakery Cafe located at 742 Fort Union Boulevard in Midvale. The food was great, thanks to Sabrina and her fabulous advice on what to order.

The Grand Lux Cafe in . . . Las Vegas!

Side trip: We took a quick weekender trip to Las Vegas and happened to eat a great breakfast at The Grand Lux Cafe! Eggs Benedict and French Toast with strawberries and cream. This was the end to our great weekend trip before heading home.
