January twenty ten the Breakfast Club kicked off the new year with a visit to The Cracker Barrel! A full service restaurant WITH an amazing gift shop filled with great treasures. We had an awesome turnout. Check out all of the pictures!

Ahhhh, The Cracker Barrel. What a great place with one of the cutest gift shops ever with old time candy and their very own "Cock Corner". My breakfast of choice was eggs topped with cheese, grits, bacon, biscuits & gravy followed by a piece of their famous Coca Cola Chocolate Cake! This cake rivals the fabulous chocolate cake from Magelbys. And to top it off, Ty and I got to pretend we knew how to play checkers. The one downer of the morning was the absense of Kirk "The Baconator" Barton to which we all raised a slice of bacon in honor of him. We also assigned some new Breakfast Club names - Becky: Flap Jacks, Haylie: Grits. I give The Cracker Barrel 4 Bacons for the individual bottles of maple syrup (as so modeled by Ty in picture above), the chocolate cake and gift shop. I had to knock them one bacon for not having any Cholula. A serious infraction!
ReplyDeletethere was definitely a good showing for this one. I personally enjoyed the peg game at the table. Becki showed off her skills and got it down to one peg! genious. It was a lot of food so Cholula and i shared which was perfect. Cake for breakfast is the way to go for sure! Especially the coke cake at cracker barrell. yum-a-dum!
