Saturday, June 20th we were able to make it to the Farmers Market and Bruges Waffles & Frites for an amazing breakfast before the rain came! The group was small but we had a great time sampling the various breads, jams and salsa's at the Farmers Market. We definitely missed Carri at Bruges. So sorry for the mix-up Carri --- we love you! The Belgian waffles were to die for and we decided to be daring a try the fries - with stew on top! This is one place we will go back for more! It was excellent! Thanks for everyone who made it!
The next Breakfast Club will be on Saturday, June 27th at 10 AM. We will be meeting at Ruths Diner.
I'm just gonna come right out and say it - these waffles are better than sex. Not that I would really know but seriously - I don't know how it could get better than Bruges!!! Saturdays breakfast club was great. From the waffles and frites, to wondering the Farmers Market and tasting everything site, to visiting Tony Capputos for the BEST basil pesto and truffle butter in the world! I HEART THE BREAKFAST CLUB!!!
