Ruth's Diner

The Breakfast Club started off the warm summer weather (finally) with breakfasts at Ruth's Diner up Emigration Canyon on Saturday, June 27th. The weather was great. We had a 45 minute wait for an outside table but it was worth it! We had a great turnout and we enjoyed ourselves among the wonderful pecan cinnamon french toast, biscuits and gravy, banana walnut french toast, eggs, bacon and fruit and more! We would definitely hit Ruth's up again anytime! See you next time!

  1. I think my favorite part about this Breakfast Club was the assignment of Chelsea and Nicks Breakfast Club nicknames. Just to recap for everyones enjoyment, we have:
    Sabrina "Cholula" Westbrook
    Mason "Benedict" Barton
    Kirk "Baconator" Barton
    Abby "Maple" Ruesch
Since Nick so proudly downed (3) of Ruths famous Mile High Biscuits - we deemed him "Mile High Biscuit" or "Mile High" for short. Then Mason recommended that someone be named "Over Easy". Chelsea jumped at this one! Looking forward to many more great times with the Breakfast Club!

  2. don't fail to mention that "Over Easy" sounds like something else! Still makes me laugh. Oh and that last picture looks like i shaved my head weird. Whats up with that?

  3. I think my favorite part of this breakfast was the extracurricular reading material available at the waiting table outside the dinner. Such materials included various home décor magazines as well as the latest Victoria Secret Catalog. Thanks Ruth (aka Sabrina, aka Cholula)! Oh, those mile high biscuits washed down with a cinnamon bun dipped in french toast batter were pretty good too.

The only down side to this breakfast was the refill department. Remember how it was like pulling teeth to get a glass of water? Maybe I was just really thirsty.
